LUCIA’S HOME is located on Viale Varese, one of the streets that border Como’s historic center, offering a convenient position to reach the city’s main attractions on foot.
At the entrance, a bookshelf smartly separates the entryway from the rest of the space, creating a practical area for hanging coats and storing accessories. The main room features a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with a dining table for two, and a relaxing area with a double sofa bed that easily converts into a comfortable sleeping space. (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared, we think it is proper to use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the closet/shelf most adjacent to the sofa). A small table and a bedside lamp add a warm and cozy touch to the atmosphere, creating an intimate and relaxing setting perfect for rest. Completing the apartment is a spacious, bright bathroom with a large shower designed to ensure maximum comfort during your stay.
Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.
We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.
The apartment does not have a private parking space, but several paid public car parks are available nearby, including those along Viale Varese, as well as Centro Lago Parking and the Autosilo Comunale.
Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

From LUCIA’S HOME, the historic center of Como can be reached in just 5 minutes on foot. You can stroll along cobblestone streets, explore shops, bars, and restaurants, visit churches, and relax in the city’s picturesque squares. Within about 10 minutes, you’ll reach Porta Torre—one of the ancient gateways to the city—Piazza San Fedele with its Romanesque basilica, Via Vittorio Emanuele, known for shopping, Piazza Volta with its lively cafés, and the iconic Piazza Duomo with its impressive cathedral and the historic Broletto. In a few more minutes, you’ll reach Piazza Cavour, Como’s largest square, where boats depart to the most famous destinations on Lake Como, including Cernobbio, Menaggio, Bellagio, and Varenna. With a pleasant walk—or by renting a city bike—you can reach Villa Olmo and its park along the scenic lakeside promenade starting from the Hangar, or Villa Geno by following the lakefront on Viale Geno. At the beginning of this street, you’ll also find the funicular station to Brunate, where you can visit the lighthouse or continue a panoramic hike through the Larian mountains, stopping at one of the traditional mountain huts along the way.
How to get there:
By car: from the A9 motorway, take the Como Nord exit and follow your GPS; the apartment can be reached in about 10 minutes.
By train: from Como S. Giovanni station, the apartment is about a 10-minute walk away. From Como Lago station, it takes about 15 minutes on foot or roughly 10 minutes by bus (lines N4, N5, N7) from the Sant’Agostino bus terminal, stopping along Viale Felice Cavallotti.
