'Our room was clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were always asking if there was anything they could for us. When their top chef was on duty, the breakfast was great. Claudio parked and retrieved our car and was helpful with local advice. He set the good tone for all that followed during our stay. 'Room is quite spacious. I like it provides kettle, that can match nicely with their provided smith tea maker tea! The room itself feels a bit old though, eg the lighting needs to be switched on/off individually instead of centralised control; air conditioning is quite noisy when it is on so I have to switch it off when I sleep.
The details of customer experience is not perfect I have to say, for example the toilet sink is too small to fit in the kettle it provides, and toilet counter top is too...

'The hotel is clean and modern. The room is perfect except foe the noisy fridge. However the service is not as expected. Paid for breakfast and at 830 the first day they were already cleaning up and the assortment was limited. Second dat there was not even breakfast. I am still waiting for the promised breakfast. '

'If AI were to make a hipster hotel it would be this one. Staff was not welcoming.
They throttle the ac at night, so the room was hot. You can’t trigger the AC to come on. The bed is just okay so it was a miserable night.
You get a free drink at the bar with your room, but the bar is lit like a retirement home and the bartender is not interested in swapping out blown kegs. It is designed for guests to not use the amenities.
We were happy to drive away quickly and experience real Portland...
