'The cabin we stayed in was the smaller of the 3, it is a little small with the bed down but still very comfortable for 2. There is definitely care that they put into these cabins, by how well they have been built. The bathroom is ample for 2 people and the Kitchenet has everything you need. The barbecue works well and the hosts make sure you have everything you need. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again it was that good and well worth the price for a weeks stay. '

'My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. Lee was so kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. He made us feel very welcome with our big dog and not at all a bother. The accommodation is well cared for and had everything we needed. Super close to a beautiful beach. And to top it off we were able to enjoy the kayaks that Lee offered. I would highly recommend. '

'This property is unbelievable for it's location, charm, comfort, and owner. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is, hands down, the best one I have stayed at. With a lighthouse and beach within walking distance, and overlooking a working harbor across the street, it is absolutely the ideal for experiencing the best of this area of Nova Scotia. The owner has amazing communication and provided an exemplary and low-stress experience. '

'These hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. They even came looking to find us when we couldn’t find the entrance to their property! The stairs up to the loft sleeping area are very steep, but the bed was extremely comfortable. If someone can’t manage the stairs, there is a pull out sofa also provided. Great location when looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. '

'This is an amazing property! It’s very clean and everything we needed was there. The lake was so peaceful, and beautiful. The cottage is located in the woods which made it so private. The family loved swimming, kayaking, and fishing all week. We really didn’t need to do anything more than stay at the cottage. We are hoping to make it a yearly thing with family, considering that half of us live in Ontario and the other half are in Nova Scotia. Thank you again to Andrea for hosting us!!! '

'This was unexpectedly a great place to spend a few days. We booked at the very last minute as a previous host was a scammer and stood us up the night before we were due. It's on a very quiet lake and the description is entirely accurate. Peaceful and not too far away from grocery stores, liquor store and Digby - which has lots of amenities. We were surprised it was available the day before we showed up. It shouldn;t have been! It's a great place to spend a few days .....'

The house itself accommodated 4 families very comfortably and every little detail was meticulously thought through - host Madison & Jody have clearly put their heart & soul into this place which honours the local Acadian traditions. 'We were so happy at the camper, it had every convenience and was well stocked. It was a perfect spot to relax at the end of the day (in the recliner chairs (inside and outside) or the hot tub!). "Beetje gedateerde accomodatie. Men is wel bezig de buitenzijde op te knappen. Restaurant is niet heel erg bijzonder. Prijs van de gerechten is vrij prijzig voor wat je krijgt. Voor een overnachting om bijvoorbeeld whale watching te gaan doen voldoet het wel. Helaas zijn er niet veel andere opties ook het eilandje. Vond het duur betaald."
