'Very near the city centre, very new, clean and with stylish interieur. Easy Check-in, coffee machine, hot water boiler, smart tv, fast wifi, many plug sockets and lights. One if our best accomodation during our trip. The only things I have to "complain" about is that an aircondition would be great (they installed an fan, but that's not the same) and I would place more hooks for the towels (the ones on the bathroom door couldn't stand wet towels and broke down. Please check this for another...

'meerdere huizen in dezelfde straat mijn kamer persoonlijk aan de kleine kant, wel volledig nieuw, proper en verzorgd ontbijt enkele huizen verder in het hoofdgebouw, wat geen probleem was ontbijt goed verzorgd op wandelafstand van een prachtige stad'

'Room was decent for 1 person to much of a squeeze for 2 people would recommend getting a 2 bedroom one no tv in the room but 1 in the common room where there is a kitchen if you want to cooke '

'Keurige en schone kamer. Snel internet, parkeren achter het hotel. Vriendelijke, behulpzame mensen. Wel erg klein, er was zelfs geen plek voor een stoel. Geen airco, dus ontzettend warm 's nachts. Voor ons was het prima te doen omdat we op doorreis waren en er 1 nacht sliepen. Voor meerdere dagen zou ik niet kiezen voor deze kamer.'

'This was a quick overnight stay while we visited Westport. Hilary greeted us at check-in and was very nice. She was also very helpful with providing us with taxi information. The property is about a mile and a half from the shops and restaurants, so we walked into town, then took a cab back later after shopping, dinner, pints, and music. The property is well maintained, with easy parking in the yard. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a pleasant...

'Charlotte and Sean provided us with a great start to our trip to visit family throughout the West of Ireland. They were very welcoming and their B&B was a perfect location just outside of Carrick town center. Our room was warm and cozy. We also really enjoyed our breakfast each morning. We'll be back next year! '

'The accommodations were perfect. They were clean and well stocked. It was an easy walking distance into downtown Galway . We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.'

'There was a little confusion at check in about which rooms we had been assigned, but it was resolved quickly. The restaurant was not open for dinner on the night that we stayed at Clancy’s, but it was only a few km to find a place to eat. The rooms were very quiet and everything worked well. Breakfast was included and we requested to have it at 7:30. They were not able to accommodate that, but made it for 8:00 and it was excellent. '

'Heel vriendelijke mensen zeer goed ontbijt en zeer schone kamers goed en eenvoudig parkeren en alles on het centrum op loopafstand. Beslist een aanrader '

'I don’t have anything negative to say….our 3 days there were fantastic and memorable. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with living area and kitchen( all large) and price can’t be beat. My next time in Westport I’ll be staying at McCarthys!'

'We booked two rooms at this property only to be told upon arrival that they had misread the booking and only were in a position to give us one room, this was due to the fact they had just sold the other room, good way of making extra money. We did ask the hotel for a return on the other rooms cost but they declined and laughed saying well at least we have one room for you. Would never use this hotel again and would advise Hotels.com to remove it from their site.'

'While the accommodation is slightly outside the city centre, this turned out to be a positive - we were able to see parts of Galway while walking which we would never have seen otherwise. The staff are lovely and conscientious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay'

"The Snug gives you exactly what it advertises: a bed, a shower and a toilet. That's all. But I didn't need more because in a town like Galway, I was out by 8:30 and back by midnight. The location is absolutely where you want to be, right on Quay Street where a lot of great pubs are, but you can be in the Claddagh and by Galway bay within minutes as well (to spot some seals!). The staff was great too. The only complaint I can utter was that fire alarm going off twice in the first night because some idiot smoked in his room, it took quite long before it was taken care of. Besides that, fantastic week, fantastic stay. "
