'Although we booked the Wizard’s Roost, due to unforeseen circumstances, we stayed in the Steampunk room, which was awesome! So creative! There are lots of clever surprises to explore. The whole place was very comfortable, with lots of amenities, especially the full kitchen. My sister can’t wait to tell everyone about this place!'

'Overall, the house was perfect for our family of 13 Thanksgiving! Kevin was wonderful with helping with any little problems we came across. My sister and I visited the Gillette Castle, which is only a 30 minute Back road drive! I highly recommend it!We cooked a beautiful turkey Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey was delicious and raised right there on the white gate farm. I also ordered two gluten-free pies. The pecan rum was out of this world! I need that recipe!We hope to come back to this...

'This is a property that is very good for large family gatherings, which is how we gathered for a birthday celebration. This area of CT. is great and has lots to do.The house is in the perfect location to do all of it.Again, suits large groups well. Room for everyone.'

'Very cute house! My teens enjoyed the ping pong and pool table downstairs, I appreciated the washer & dryer. The house was very clean, bright and well decorated. The one bathroom was a tiny challenge for our family of 4, but the mirrors in the bedrooms helped. The only possible downside is the house is on a street with quite a bit of big truck traffic, quite noisy, but it didn’t really bother us. We’d stay here again if we return to CT.'

'This was BY FAR the easiest rental I have done with VRBO. Communications with the host are easy and responses come quickly! The home has several great features that I wasn’t aware of ahead of time: multiple HVAC zones and heated bathroom floors among others. Garage access with a remote and two bays. And a rooftop deck with a beautiful view of Long Island Sound and the surrounding area. '
