'This property is amazing. The staff/owners were very kind & helpful. I only wished that I spoke Italian, instead, they needed to work at translation, which they did very kindly. The place is magical, with views one only dreams of. Breakfast was plentiful & tasty. Parking is a little inconvenient, but that is true of the city.'

'There’s probably not a bad location in Montepulciano, but this place is pretty much ideal, just minutes from both the main square and the Main Street. Everything was clean and well maintained, and it has a nice rustic feel. The breakfast was great, with many sweet and savory choices in a buffet setting. The hosts are both friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!'

Hotel is up around the middle of the town, well located to go up or down and near everything! The room we had was old, crowded and bathroom very tiny, even hard for my husband to fit between the sink and wall to get to the toilet, it’s just that the property is old and not renovated so understandable but because I depend a lot on reviews, I’m telling it like it...

'A beautiful renovated room just inside the city wall which was very convenient for parking & close for luggage. I didn’t realize it was self check-in so missed chatting with staff in person. WhatsApp communication with the team was excellent though in recommending and booking us for a couple of winery tours which we really enjoyed. Breakfast is in a bakery around the corner so needed to pay extra for fruit & yogurt instead of pastry for GF husband even after asking about options before booking....

'Very nice welcome by our host and we started immediately with wine tasting with cheese and bruschettas. Although we were the only guests she offered to make dinner for us. But we went into the centre of Montepulciano (walking distance) and found a few open restaurants. Beautiful centre with a few shops open despite the winter period closures. Execellent wines in Montepulciano! '

'We had 3 rooms. None had Air Conditioning working. They assured us that by night, A/c would be working. Didn’t happen. We Were sent to a different hotel at 10:00 pm. The replacement hotel was 30 minutes and three towns away from Montepulsiano through mountain winding roads. It just killed our three days visit to Montepulciano having to drive back and forth everytime we needed to go to hotel and back for reserved meals and activities.'
