Positief: Voorzieningen
We celebrated our wedding anniversary and we booked a comfortable, spacious suite with great furnishings, coffee machine and fabulous view of the castle and church. We particularly liked the radio playing as we entered the suite. It created a calm atmosphere. Parking and food (evening meals) were also excellent.
We would have given a 5 star rating but for the following:
No wardrobe in bedroom, only drawers
Pillows too soft
Didn’t like the open plan bedroom/bathroom as I like more privacy in the bathroom personally
I would have preferred the toilet in the bathroom rather than outside of the bedroom
Windows need attention as gaps let cold air in
There is a lack of plug sockets in the suite, the one in the bedroom is not near a mirror so we had to use the two in the living space for the hairdryer, which were by the mirror
Nowhere to put toiletries in the shower
Sadly an alarm went off in the building at 7:30 am on Saturday 4th October which was slightly disconcerting
We would return but probably try a cheaper room next time.
