'If you need to be in Eastbourne then this B&B is the place to stay. Great hospitality in a very quiet but convenient spot in town. Eastbourne itself is a bit former glory but has a beautiful pier and waterfront and some good golf courses nearby. A perfect in between stop on our way to Portland. '

'The room was compact but very comfortable. It was spotless and very well appointed, with a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and even a standing fan. The location is perfect, close to everything you might need. The pub downstairs serves great food too. Even though it's above a pub, there was no noise at all, and I slept very well. 'We stayed for one night and were upgraded to a king size. A beautiful place to stay, lovely gardens. Breakfast was excellent and there was a good vegetarian variety. Super friendly staff, thanks Louise ;)
We ate a small dinner there, because we were a bit to tired to go out for dinner. It was good, but the portions were a bit small. We are not big eaters, but this was too little , even for "normal" eaters. Risotto was not risotto rice, but regular rice.. Work on this and it will be perfect :) ...

'The staff were very polite nd friendly. The room was very spacious with a large comfortable bed. There was a kettle with loads of tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied. There was a shower in the bathroom . With very large towels which smelled lovely . Lots of shampoo, shower gel snd body lotion supplied. I will definitely be going back '

'After changing our room we had an excellent stay. Please note that if you book two single beds and a walk-in shower, you will not stay in the old part of the hotel. That part dates from 1600 and is really beautiful with its history. Very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.'

Nevertheless, it was great to be so close to the sea, we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.'
