Quiet, private retreat with beautiful country views
This property overlooks open fields with a pond, hillsides, and a tree farm across the road. If you want a quiet area where you can watch the sun set from chairs on the outside patio and watch the stars come out, this is it. There are separate sitting areas, and a firepit below the house with chairs as well. The unit was clean, and questions responded to. No issues with check in or check out.

STUNNING PROPERTY!
My husband and I came to Copake to elope, and our time here was simply amazing. This property is absolutely gorgeous and made for such a beautiful weekend and stunning photos! Michael was a great host, and was quick to respond! We can’t wait to come back ♥️

Sorry you weren’t satisfied. Regarding the bedding… it’s always cleaned and refreshed. I utilize a professional cleaning company and they do a thorough job of cleaning and washing all bedding.

Perfect location for leaf peeping
Beautiful property in a gorgeous area to appreciate the fall colors. Hiking & great restaurants nearby. Great host communication. Very clean, modern apt. My husband did not like that there was no TV and only an expresso machine, no coffee.

A perfect space.
I needed a place to write. It was quiet, cozy, distraction free, near gorgeous trails, and a perfect place to try to meet a deadline. 21,282 words later, I felt refreshed and calm.

Perfect Place to Rest
This was the perfect place to unwind for a weekend away with my husband. The space is decorated well, clean, and very well kept. Communication with the host was excellent. It is a bit on the colder side as the whole space is heated by a gas fireplace, but nothing that an extra layer or two won't fix. Would return.

Perfect Weekend!
Michael was an excellent host. The apartment was spacious, well-designed, and extremely comfortable. There were lots of places to sit outside throughout the property. Even a dock by a pond! Highly recommend spending a weekend here.

Perfect weekend getaway
This was a well appointed, adorable spot. The apartment was Cozy and comfortable, and the gas fireplace gave plenty of warmth along with great ambience. For us, the outdoors brought this place to the next level. The grounds are so gorgeous, and the views from anywhere in the yard or apartment are breathtaking. The location was also perfect in that it was only a short drive to hiking, restaurants, groceries, even a brewery. We have typically shied away from renting a space where the property is shared with another renter or the owner due to past experiences, but these homeowners were lovely. They were very responsive and accommodating, but we never felt there was a lack of privacy or any awkwardness. So my advice would be not to overlook this place if you have similar feelings to myself and my husband about shared properties. I would absolutely recommend renting this spot.

Peace and tranquility
If you're looking for peace and quiet with quick access to places to hike in NY and MA, this is the spot for you. Beautiful property with a pond and babbling brook, multiple fire pit options, and a hammock. All your basic amenities are covered and the host was always quick to respond to questions. Loved our stay. Thanks so much.

Comfortable place on beautiful grounds.
We loved finding so many birds on the property which has a large lawn, pond and stream. We walked in area parks and Conservancy sites. Spent time in the Berkshires, as well.

Secluded getaway from the city
Absolutely loved this place! Came out for just a few days to disconnect and it was exactly what we hoped for. The property was stunning and the house was gorgeous, perfect for a getaway for 2. Can’t overstate how beautiful this place was w/ snow; Michael provided us with all the supplies to make a bonfire and we thoroughly enjoyed the property. ONE THING- there’s no food delivery in the area, so stock up on cooking supplies or get ready to drive a lil! Same w/ Uber’s, so we called a taxi company to get us back to the train station. Overall, incredible experience and would highly recommend staying here.

Great Fall Weekend Getaway for Two
This was a perfect weekend getaway for two. Check-in was easy and the apartment is equipped with everything you need. The surrounding area has a lot to offer - we hiked Bash Bish Falls, visited the town of Great Barrington, went to a Farmer's Market on Saturday morning, and spent time enjoying the property. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had, and everything felt clean and safe which is especially important in COVID times.

Exquisite Views and Design in Nature and Luxury!
This experience was invaluable to me for it's 180 degree view of the land, sky, and sunsets from the dining table - a real relaxation that I needed! The apt. was private beautifully designed and arranged. The owners were great with communication and I was very happy for 5 days! It truly is a worthwhile and unique opportunity!
