'Our visit started with Christy at the front desk. We had arrived prior to check-in time. She found a room for us and quickly had us on our way to our beautiful room. The rooms are spacious, luxurious, quiet and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious; service was warm and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. '

'We were in town for a wedding and elected to stay at the family owned Overlook Hotel. This hotel is under renovation and coming along nicely. The rehabilitated buildings come with luxurious fixtures and relaxing decor. A perfect retreat! Being that it is just up and running, some ammentities will need to catch up. If your stay in the near future requires anything in particular, be sure to communicate with the owners- i am certain the be sure you have all you need!'

The property really blew me away and I felt like every detail was really thought out here. The cliff house is also an incredible restaurant we ended up eating there 5 times throughout our stay.... '

'My wife and I randomly picked The Alander because we needed a last minute escape after sadly losing our 16 year old dog. I cannot say enough about not just the courtesy, kindness, and efficiency of literally all staff we interacted with, but also how terrifically designed and clean the facilities are. The restaurant and bar attached are top notch as well, and hav eclearly become a destination spot for the local area. Reid, one of the owners, is a great conversationalist, and incredibly attentive...
