'After marrying at the Purbeck Hotel, and having an amazing day, we ditched our normal motorhome accomodation to fast forward almost 26 years to the day to stay here again. It still has the same quirky charm, and John Burt'tastic stone mason salvages a-plenty, and gave us the peace and fantastic night's sleep we were craving. Married with amazing weather, convenience for town, a room looking out towards Swanage Bay, and beautiful sunrises, we had a lovely weekend 👍'

'Nette en schone kamer. Matras ligt goed. Kamer is erg gehorig. Is een oud gebouw dus alles kraakt, je hoort andere mensen de trap op en af lopen. Hotel ligging is prima, aan de overkant van de weg is het strand. Winkeltjes en restaurants allen op loopafstand. Wifi is prima. Voor het parkeren krijg je bij het inchecken een vergunning, zodat je in de straat gratis kan parkeren. Prima hotel om in te verblijven.'

'Even before I arrived, Nicola texted me to let me know the room was ready earlier than the standard check in time, and how to get the key from the key box. The location was probably one of the best spots in Weymouth.....harbour one side, beach literally across the road the other. When I arrived, I got the key, and stayed in Room 3. It is compact, with just a bed, sink, TV and complimentary tray......but it was extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the window was...

'We were warmly welcomed and given the keys early, and able to drop our bags off, so we could come back when the room was ready and let ourselves in. The room was small but had two chairs by the window which was lovely for looking out at the beach whilst enjoying a cup of tea in the morning. The fridge was great for keeping drinks cool and being able to use fresh milk was a bonus. Breakfast was very good and the cooked breakfast ingredients were of a high quality. '

'Heel vriendelijk personeel, erg behulpzaam. Bij binnenkomst duurde het even voordat er iemand kwam, mijn vriend ging achter even kijken en zag verbouwing spullen liggen. Ze zaten midden in een soort van verbouwing, want ze zouden na de zomer periode ook weer dicht gaan om verdere dingen in het hotel aan te pakken. Ze waren nu 2 jaar eigenaar van het hotel en stukje bij beetje waren ze het aan het opknappen. Er zou ook een restaurant opengaan de volgende dag en daar waren ze ook heel druk mee....

'Very hospitable staff and lovely breakfast room overlooking the sea . Prime location. I booked a single room as solo traveller which I can recommend to others. Room well proportioned as sometimes single rooms aren't with ample storage and easy to work hot efficient shower. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Nice decor with good positioned television and tho I'm not used to a single bed. All was forgotten as it was comfortable. Perhaps better than home. !! I used to sell beds so I do know...

'Got a family room (5people) with sea view which was freshly renovated clean and spacious. Newly furnished, new comfy mattresses large winfow facing the sea.
