It was also fun watching the deer eat the apples too. The corn hole game (provided) was a blast and just relaxing on the decks was so peaceful. 'Booked for a friends and family weekend! 4 adults and 5 kiddos under 5 yrs old. The cabin is spacious for large groups with great hiking in the area. We loved the bonfire set up and how relaxing the living room was. Bummed that mother nature didn't have snow in February but I'd imagine that this place would be GREAT for snow adventures and hunting!'

'The listing was so accurate, however the wildlife in the backyard was more than I could’ve hoped for. Sitting by the fire (they even provided wood, love!) and watching deer eat and bats fly by and we even got a woodpecker visitor. It’s nice and quiet all around and only 15 minutes from bigger towns. Sucks it rained most of the time and couldn’t do much exploring, but I think that was the universe telling us to take a break and relax. Stacy is so kind, they even left cute little chocolate bars...

'The cottage and lake were just as it was pictured! It was beautiful. The only downside was that the weather was not very cooperative. We had two beautiful days and then 3 days of rain. But even with the rain the stay was delightful. The cottage was so cozy and it was so relaxing sitting on the sofa with the fire going. The views from the kitchen and family room are lovely and the beds were comfortable. Our dogs loved swimming in the lake. We couldn't figure out how to work the outdoor shower but...

'This house is located on a quiet lake and we had a great time swimming, kayaking, and riding in the pontoon boat. We saw bald eagles flying over the lake in the morning. The host provided everything we needed, including life jackets, towels, and water toys. There were ample bedrooms for our two families with kids. The property manager was very helpful when we had an issue come up requiring a repair and got it fixed the same day.'

It was thoughtfully stocked and the binder she put together for activities in the area was an awesome resource! I made good use of it! It was easy to feel like I was at home there.
