It feels like you are checking into an asylum. With the Plexiglas receptions area and the drug addicts hanging around the "Bar" area. This "hotel" is very old and everything is outdated. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping seems on top of things but I never felt safe as the hallway doors were not secured and the room only had a lock built into the handle from the 1940's.

Clean and comfortable property. Disconcerting to have people hanging around main door of hotel, which you cannot avoid meeting. My wife was confronted by one of these people who obviously was intoxicated. Still rather upsetting.

Our room smelled like weed from the adjacent bar. Could hear people outside talking and singing Bon Jovi’s Dead or Alive We and our dog could not settle until the bar closed. No air conditioning but there was a fan.

The good - room was clean, staff was friendly. The bad - no air conditioning in the room, no fan in the very small bathroom so when you took a shower it heated up the whole room. The exposed pipework and minimal decor gave it a dorm feel. It's fine if youre just looking for an inexpensive place to sleep.

The location is excellent, very short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. I understand the property is undergoing renovations, which it is certainly due. There was no AC in my room and with the window open smoke from people smoking in the exit downstairs was drifting up into my room. However the room was spacious, clean and fairly quiet. the staff I interacted with were very helpful. Over all it was a good stay, but a little over priced given the lack of AC and dated nature of the property.

Very old hotel. No coffee maker or anything. Some tvs didn't work. The girl at check in , although pleasant was not very knowledgeable about the area or yhe request for a late checkout. Ok for the price but not for an extended stay

The sound on the TV did not work the first night,but managed to get it working 2nd day.The refridgerator kept making the noise of starting up every 5 minutes but never did start up,so I ended up unplugging it for my stay.No coffee maker in room,and closest coffee shop was a kilometer away as were the restaurants.There was a Thai restaurant next door which turned out to be incredibly good and I would recommend it highly to Asian food lovers.My room was across from the front desk and right next door to the public washroom which was frequented by the bar patrons.But overall I enjoyed my stay.

Property is located in the center of the town. There was no food service. There was no support for people with mobility issues (grab bars in bathrooms). Office staff and cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful.

For an old hotel it was really clean, staff were wonderful, lovely little lounge attached. It could use a bit of sprucing up outside, maybe a bench and some flowers and there is no restaurant attached. Overall it was a great place to stay with large rooms, comfortable beds, and very relaxing.

Old, dilapidated, noisy. Appalling condition of bathtub, chipped, dirty enamel. Can’t recall last time I saw anything in such condition in a hotel.

We are sorry for your dissatisfaction of your stay , but in our defense your room is very clean with new paint and flooring . the minor chips in your tub has not been overlooked , but unfortunately as a family run operation and not a chain hotel . we have a small budget to put back into our business, and you are in the final room that is due for a major upgrade . as this is why we allotted it for you to accommodate your pet , again we apologize for your experience

we apologize for your concern , but we removed them during covid to help prevent extra wastage of unopened coffee packs , we decided to serve free coffee to our guests at our front desk , we again apologize
