'Little bit strange with lobby on 12th. Downtown in walking distance. Convention Center 20 min walk Parking not cheap, but all parking garages aren't. Expected more homeless people as the US isn't doing well on that point. Neighbourhood felt safe, '

'Check In was high tech, but everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Valet, though pricey, was very helpful and quick. Large room, a whole kitchenette (fridge, microwave, mini stove), large bathroom, even a washer + dryer combo. Realized that there was no closet in our room, but the lack of it was made up with amenities and space. Large windows for natural lighting too! Just remember to put down the blinds. '

'Over prized hotel. 800 dollars for two nights is not cheap. You expect the basics to be in order. Because there's nothing really special about this hotel that would justify a high price. My bathroom sink and bath drain were clothed. Showering means standing enkel deep in water. Going by the lines on the bath this is a long time problem. Also there was water on the floor near the toilet. On top of that they forgot to clean my room. And to top it of the wifi is terrible. What didn't make it...

'Beautiful building and we loved the balcony. The history behind the building is cool. Staff were wonderful and we had a great stay!'

'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'Fine location. Blaring music in the lobby was less fine and not a fun environment to sit in the morning. Good restaurants and lots of choices. Clise to convention center. '
