'Newly renovated and uniquely and thoughtfully decorated. Bedroom opened up to a courtyard with a pool. Nice and clean room and common area. Fully equipped kitchen. Very relaxing atmosphere in a small town away from the daily hustles. Will certainly come back to this place if in the area. '

'We zijn nog nooit zo hard in de watten gelegd als door Paulo en Judith! Zo een gastvrije mensen, niets is te veel. Geweldig ontbijt, met dorpsgemaakt gebak. Een ideaal zwembad om eens goed af te koelen. Kamers mooi en superproper. Een aanrader. Perfect om enkele nachten te verblijven.'

'Great location in the walled city. Check in with code and lockbox worked well. Room (no. 2) - up one set of narrow stairs - was small, but clean with a nice view of the town and castle wall. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom - everything worked well. Breakfast was okay - there are better options close by in town. It was a fun stay in an authentic building in the walled city. We would stay here again.'

'Provided code for the door only after calling. Mixed up bookings and provided code for other guests rooms. Breakfast horrible and said it would be not included while it was mentioned in the booking. Never again'

'The owner Susana was really friendly and helpful, the room is a 10/10 and also the pool & outside area is beautiful and perfect to relax. The only improvable thing is that the door is poorly soundproofed. All in all i would really recommend the Pata da Gaivota Boutique House :)'

'Notre séjour s’est incroyable bien passé, le lit super confortable , pour la cuisine nous n’avons manquer de rien super fonctionnel, salle de bain super belle avec un sèche cheveux à disposition. Aucun bruit super tranquille malgré les travaux à côté. L’entrée sens super bon !! '

'Struttura completamente ristrutturata, bagno un po' piccolo, ma comodo e funzionale. Comodo e con tutto il necessario l' angolo cottura, comodo il letto. Tutto molto pulito e funzionale. Fuori dalla stanza/monolocale un carinissimo giardino con tavoli in pietra e aiuole molto carine da condividere con gli altri ospiti. Nella parte posteriore del giardino ci sono dei comodi fili per stendere asciugamani e costumi e c'è anche un barbecue. Il tutto ad un prezzo più che conveniente. Insomma, sono...

"The hosts Ester Rita and Bibiana (and also other employees) made us feel very welcome in the hotel. We were sad when our trip was over and we had to leave. Very enjoyable terrace/bar to sit at. Drinks were carefully curated. Comfortable bedding. Great breakfast. Sufficient parking. Room thoroughly cleaned. Convenient digital room card. Not far from the beach and other amenities. If we go to Foz Do Arelho, we will definitely stay at Agua d’Alma again."

"Zijn hier eind mei 2025 geweest. Is een groot hotel waar vooral veel golf liefhebbers komen. Naast het complex ligt een 18 hole golfbaan. Personeel spreekt in het algemeen prima Engels. Ontvangst is prima en de uitleg eveneens. Kamer aan de tuinzijde was ok met twee grote bedden. Matras voor ons echt veel te zacht, maar dat is persoonlijke voorkeur. Faciliteiten gewoon supergoed. Fitness alleen erg warm maar verder een mooi binnenbad, mooi buitenbad, goede spa etc. Buitenbad is groot met voldoende ruimte in deze tijd voor de gasten. Prijzen in de bar en bij het zwembad vonden wij echt te hoog. Negen euro voor een glas gemiddelde wijn is voor Portugese begrippen belachelijk. Maar goed, men betaalt het dus Marriot lacht zich rot. Eten via buffet. Uitstekend. Zowel in de avond als de ochtend. "

"Hotel doesn't have its own parking, so parking needs to be done near by, which if you arrive late, could be an issue to find space. You have to pay a small amount anyway, so you will need some coins in your pocket. The hotel itself is nice, friendly staff, good breakfast, and it is easy to walk to other restaurants & places. Unfortunately, the small restaurants just outside of the hotel was temporarily closed. "
