The pool was a big hit with my grandson, the wide front veranda looking over the sea was the best spot in the house and where we spent most of our time. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and had a great local bar on the beach. We will be returning as we didn't want to leave!'

'Reaching the villa is an adventure, driving over a very steep but well drivable narrow road. If you rent a car (you do need a car!!) you should go for a diesel. We didn't. Our Nissan Micra made it barely through the hairpins in first gear. A diesel would have been much easier to drive. Once there you get an astonishing view over Almunecar, the hills and the sea. Breathtaking! You enjoy this view from the terrace near the (clean) swimming pool or from the terrace in the shade that is equipped for...

'Beautiful house, views are spectacular! Home from home everything you need. The only thing was the pool cleaner never came when scheduled, it was a Spanish holiday so maybe that was the reason, air conditioning isn’t allowed to go below 24 so it was hot on an evening. But very minor and did not affect our stay. We will definitely come back! Beautiful family memories made. Our daughter got engaged and even the neighbours had champagne with us '
