'A beautiful French house which was spacious and extremely well equipped. Clearly a well-loved family home and the beautiful house also has a fantastic outdoor area and an extra dining space, which is also well equipped, down near the pool and garden. A gorgeous region, but we could have quite easily spent every day in the beautiful house and by the pool. Brigitte was a great host and made us feel extremely welcome as well as well looked after throughout our 3 week stay. We have some very special...

'Virginie is a gracious and generous host. Always around if you need her, but keeping her distance when you want some down time. The house is beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. The setting was glorious and we all enjoyed the many and various sunsets. Lots to do in the surrounding area, but we mostly chose to relax around the little hamlet. Lots of pleasant walks around the vineyards. There was a little noise on Saturday nights from the property next door, which is a wedding venue, but...

'House was in a lovely location. Garden was rustic beautiful sound of frogs in the evening. House comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Owner was helpful to accommodate a later check out. Shame half a toilet roll, and no soap provided. Would rather have had these basics than the local bottle of wine! Especially as had just stayed at another place with the basics including toilet paper soap and cleaning products in addition salt and coffee being provided.'

'Nice house in a nice location. Just steps to the massive Sunday market. We enjoyed meeting owner Sylvie. We would recommend letting prospective visitors know about the narrow circular stairway up to living quarters. Some older or disabled folks (or anyone with large luggage) will find the climb a challenge. Also, bring your own toilet paper, hand soap and dish-washing soap.'

A few downsides are the short beds for most Europeans and the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms (only an issue when it is 35 degrees for multiple days in a row), but the rooms 2 were spacious enough for 6 people. All in all a great stay with a spacious garden for our dog or to lie under a tree to get some shade. Also a spacious ground floor with almost all necessary facilities. Location is between the vineyards of the Bordeaux region. Bordeaux is within an hour...

'We had a great stay in this beautiful and neat house. The owner was living on the groundfloor and always friendly and helpful. Big plus: the pool. The house was quietly situated, but everything (shops and restaurant) was only a couple of minutes drive.'

'This is a beautiful traditional style French house of the region. It is a bit rustic in places, but absolutely packed with charm and character. The location is amazing - what you see in the photos is exactly how it is. The river is a 60-second walk away with easy access in and out of the water. The village is pretty, quiet and within 10 minutes drive of a E.Leclere supermarket and the main road. The house is spacious, has bags of character, has a fabulous outdoor space with chairs, sun-loungers...

'Goed ingericht en schoon huis in een stille wijk en dicht bij grote supermarkt. In Libourne is het busvervoer gratis. Bij de receptie hebben ze de vertrektijden. Ook kregen we bij aankomst veel informatie over de streek. Prima bedden. Personeel erg behulpzaam en aardig. Een plek om terug te komen.'
