'My friends and I stayed here recently while in town for our college reunion. The location can’t be beat- easy access to downtown Lexington, W&L, VMI, the Chessie Trail, etc. We will be back!'

'Our stay at the Irish Farmhouse was perfect! The property is well designed and appointed and an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape and area. We didn’t get use the porch or fire pit as it was too cold but definitely will next time we stay. Everything was spotless, the furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had just what we needed for a meal that we picked up from a local grocery store. Close to downtown Lexington but far enough away to feel remote. We can’t wait to plan...

'This is a wonderful little home with lots of charm. Reminds me of grandma's house. It is older and some floors are not even, but the bathrooms and the kitchen have been updated, new windows and heat/air system. We enjoyed the porches a lot. They have anything and everything you might need for your stay. Saw a deer and groundhog there. Grounds were beautifully kept. Would stay again. '

'Beautiful rustic location on a mountain river. Everything provided for rafting, kayaking, or fishing—or just relaxing and enjoying the views. Perfect location for motorcycle riding the “Back Roads Discovery Route” with winding country roads and challenging Forest Service trails. Easy parking for our trailers. Fire pit to finish off the evenings with a campfire by the river. Great hosts with easy self check in.'

'We were in town for a funeral and the house met our needs perfectly. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, though not the exact sizes and distribution in the listing. And we would have liked a little more water pressure for showers, but everything else was great. I loved all the snowmen decorations. Already planning for another visit.'

'We had a comfortable 3 night stay at your River retreat en route to Ohio for the solar eclipse. The weather was unfortunately very cold which restricted our outdoor activities. The cabin was cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The only thing missing was a toaster! Thank you.'
