'Idyllic location and the cottage was exactly what we were looking for (woke up the first morning to an amazing view of the ocean and deer outside the window)! Clean and comfortable with so many great amenities. The hosts were fantastic with communication and we had such an amazing time there. A short but scenic drive to Lunenburg to be able to explore the harbour and see the Bluenose II, and try some great restaurants which was amazing.'

'We had a wonderful time. The trailer and outhouse were very clean and the view is breathtaking! The bed is VERY comfortable! My husband and I visited for my birthday and the very thoughtful hosts had a birthday cake waiting for me in the fridge!!!! We would definitely like to return. I saw many seals (I included a picture but it’s difficult to see it-they liked swimming just under the surface) and an eagle each day. Thanks for a great weekend!'

'Unbelievable location with beautiful home and view. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and walking around the huge yard.The host was so helpful and quick to respond whenever we had questions. The home is only a few short minutes drive to Lunenburg historic town where there is a Tim Hortons, grocery store and lots of restaurants. 10/10! We loved our time here!!'

Lovely hosts, gorgeous cozy property, comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, thoughtful information pack, board games in the cupboard, everything spotless, and in a great location within a few minutes walk of Lunenberg’s waterfront, shops and restaurants. 'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described if not better. The Romantic Oceanfront Retreat was very clean and has everything you need in a short term rental. The hot tub located so close to the water was a wonderful way to spend the close of each day. We loved the LeHave and Bridgewater communities. "Super huisje! Ik werd verrast door hoe ruim het uiteindelijk was, veel groter dan het vooraf leek. De keuken was volledig ingericht en de omgeving was heerlijk rustig en mooi. Rondom het huisje was volop natuur: ik heb hertjes, bevers en allerlei verschillende vogels gezien. En dat allemaal op korte afstand van het historische centrum van Lunenburg. Als ik weer in de buurt ben, kom ik hier zeker terug!"
