Had to check in with a kiosk and was told there was a 100 deposit which I wasn't told initially. I did not feel secure giving my card or Identification to the lady in the kiosk but she said if I didn't pay the 100 deposit I couldn't stay there.
We put our things in the room then went to dinner. When we came back, we were told by another tenant who was leaving with their luggage there were bedbugs.
We went into the room and pulled back the bedspread
and there were quite a few long black hairs in them, and the sheets were not clean. At that point we were disgusted because sheets had obviously not been washed. MY GRANDAUGHTER TOOK A SHOWER TO WASH. I went to the front office and told the receptionist i wanted a refund for the deposit and charge. I was told by her I had to get my things out before she would, then by the time I got back up to the room my card had been deactivated. my daughter was in the room so we could get our stuff and get out. I went back to the receptionist and she rudely said I would get my 100 refund back but . told me they sent out their linen and had no responsibility for it. Also she couldn't do a refund since i booked through a third party. We had to find another place to stay at 9:30 pm which was difficult and ended up driving to gold beach which was about an hour drive. Checked in at 10:55 pm DO NOTSTAY HERE, THE LACK OF EVEN AN APOLOGY AND THE FACT THAT WE COULD HAVE BEEN INFECTED WITH BEDBUGS IS VERY UN ACCEPTABLE!!!
