Close enough to everything you need, but tucked away that you feel like you are on your own "island." The place had plenty of space for the 2 of us (even more people would have plenty of room). We got a great recommendation for dinner for my husband's birthday. Checking in and seeing a Happy Birthday Balloon with local syrup was just the absolute added touch!!! Very sweet. 'Just what my friends and I were looking for to have a ladies weekend away! An amazing back yard, beds were comfy, loved the deck off the back bedroom. Went exploring and found a few waterfalls, and a couple ice cream places. Secluded enough that we had privacy, but close enough to a gas station and a dollar general when we needed anything. Really loved the coziness of the whole stay. We brought a queen air mattress just in case, and we wound up blowing it up and putting it in the back bedroom...

It had everything we needed for an incredible long weekend - the beds were comfy, the kitchen was fully stocked, and there were so many wonderful touches that went above and beyond. And when we weren't able to figure out how to work the fireplace, someone was there to help us within an hour. We highly recommend!'

'Host is super responsive and the property has pretty much everything you need. The lake is pretty small, but super clear and great for bass fishing! Personally, I feel that the “sleeps 12” is a stretch, and think the furniture and beds would not be adequate for that many. Inflatable mattress needs to be replaced as it deflates within a couple hours. Loved the touch of having puzzles and movies available, as it was great to have during rainy times. Overall, really nice place to spend our week!'
