'It’s an old building on a hill but the inside is nicely renovated and in a good state. Rooms are nice and clean and beds are very good. Breakfast is nicely done on request the English or Scottish way. Service is excellent and staff (Terry) is very friendly and helpful.'

'We had a lively stay. The rooms are above a pub and restaurant. It was very quiet and relaxing in the room with good amenities. The staff weere welcoming and friendly on arrival. 'Stayed over for one night passing through on a cycling trip. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful storing and charging our bikes. Only open for B&B but fortunately the local tearoom opens on weekend evenings for meals. Well stocked community shop next door and community pub at the end of the street. Great village and area.'

'Just returned from four nights at the Cross Keys ...... Susan the owner and staff are more than welcoming ...... New Galloway is tranquility it’s self !!!!! And a hidden gem for those looking to escape for a while .... a piece of Scottish charm and well worth a visit ..... but don’t tell too many people 😁'

'After waking up in the morning the room and our clothes felt a bit dampy. Maybe because the room is located in the cellar. It had good coffee and tea facilities.
The doorlock of the shared bathroom was loose / not working well. By closing the door from the outside and nobody was inside the door went locked. For tall people the ceiling of the bathroom could be to low.
We had a good breakfast and the staff was very helpful.'

'Holiday Inn in Dumfries is goed bevallen. Prima hotel, maar niet heel bijzonder. Ontbijt en kamer was ok. Locatie is erg mooi, op een universiteitscampus. Helaas past de aanbouw van het hotel hier niet echt bij.
