'Overall everything was excellent'

'Location is excellent as it is central and close to cafes and restaurants. Great meals in the Hotel too. Parking in front of the motel units gets a bit busy at times, but we parked on arrival and didn't need to use the car again until we checked out. Staff were all friendly and efficient.'

'Nicely renovated historic pub with very cheap drinks in the bar downstairs!!'

'It is not the most convenient- out of the immediate town. Had to wash dishes in an outside porch. No oven. Quirky set up but clean and tidy'

'Restaurant was great. Room was good.'

'Nothing to do around, not an inspiring area'

'Issues with the air conditioner not working. Called to reception and we were advised to change to another room. The new room was better but still not cool. Cleaning was poor in the shower area with mould visible. Needs better maintenance. Breakfast is very overpriced for the offering.'

'Delightful house beautifully decorated and comfortable. Great location for exploring the Ferguson Valley and close enough to town to pop in to the bakery for coffee and croissants or fresh bread.'

'The house was clean and well stocked. However a few items didn't work or didn't work properly 1 air con very hard to turn on or off front door didn't lock properly and garage door didn't work automatically had to be pulled by hand'

'Absolutely loved our stay at Blackwood Valley Suites. Our tent and gazebo broke during the strong winds the night before and we didn’t know where else to go. Irwin was very accommodating and nothing was too much to ask. The bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud and the shower after a rough night in a tent was truly bliss. Plus it’s only a short drive from Balingup and Bridgetown. Beautiful scenery and just so peaceful. We will definitely be back!'

'Lovely location for beach walks'
