'The resort is located on a bay in a secluded part of the island, so if you are looking for a place to unwind and lose track of time, you found it. The premium rooms are amazing and the view of the bay is breathtaking. Waking up early everyday to this was worth it. We had a day bed to lounge on next to our plunge pool in the room to relax. The food was great, they have sit down breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. Wednesday night is a BBQ buffet for dinner. There are docks that have tables set up...

'the Chef was great, it is a small family owned place and they all chip in , the food was the best I had on the ISLAND in years. depending on your room and what you book, you get different things but the overal experience was great unless you want a more Eurocentric experience in the carribean, then the other Resorts are for you, but I love this little family Run place, was HOME. 'We were a little sceptical about Galleon Beach Resort due to limited reviews but we did not regret booking.
Upon arrival Talia showed us down to Sea Breeze - cottage number 10. She left a welcome sheet providing her mobile number incase we needed it, numbers of taxis etc.
The cottage was beautiful with a living area with two small couches, a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge water cooler and 2 plate hob.

'Don’t be fooled by the classification “Suite”. They’re just standard hotel rooms. So no separate bedroom. Staff varies dramatically from friendly, via uninterested to just rude (especially in body language). Items missing or exchanged without notification from ordered food. 'Though not the most luxurious place I have ever stayed in, this vacation definitely owns a place in my personal top 3. Staff is friendly, and given the scale of the hotel the overall experience very intimate and personal. Rooms all have magnificent views, outdoor showers and overall comfort is good. Our room did have a ceiling fan that wasn't quite up to the task but all-in-all this did not affect the wonderful week we spent at Cocos. Food is excellent, give our greetings to Acarie.'

'Very peaceful location, close to quiet beach. 'It was really special to stay in Nelson’s Dockyard. We stayed in the lofts and it was very relaxing. Only downside is the walls are paper thin (old building, I should have expected this) so bring ear plugs or a white noise machine if you’re a light sleeper! Restaurants were great at the hotel and the area is very walkable. There’s a complimentary boat to take you to Galleon Bay, which was a really nice beach.'

'I stayed at the Moxy because of its central location between Falmouth Harbour and Nelson's Dockyard. The hotel manager makes you feel at home. I stayed in a room for two persons which is quite luxury. The one person rooms are a bit more basic but have everything you need. I enjoyed my stay over here and it felt like home for a week.'
