It is a steep walk up 6 or so stairs to get into the hotel, which was difficult for me to get my suitcase up. No one was there. I had to sit around and wait for staff to show up which was 3:30 or so. There are no other businesses around. It is 1 and a half stories up to the first floor of rooms with several stairs. Lucky for me, the gentleman that checked me in carried the suitcase up...

'We didn't get the room we booked. It was not available. Oscar at the FD did the best he could to give us another room. The room had a tub which made it difficult for my husband to shower but we made it work. Would have appreciated a call beforehand though so I could search for another hotel. Now everything was fully booked.'

You could hear the base in my room.All night my tub would not drain when I took a shower and then a lady knocked on my door at nine o'clock to ask me if I drove a certain car and I did not.And I told them what I drove never again'

I’d definitely recommend paying for the parking; it made things much easier instead of having to search for a spot. 'The term Boston Logan Airport is misleading. The hotel is almost 15 minutes driving from the airport and there is no shuttle. Hotel facilities are okay, but the shower was freezing. '

'This is one of our favorite places to stay anywhere in the US. Lovely inn! Each room has its own individual charm as no two rooms are alike. A bonus is the great continental breakfast! Make detours to Marblehead every time we come to Boston just so we can include a stay here.'

'Joan is very friendly and helpful. She seeks to accommodate guests in whatever way she can. My room was quiet and had a private bathroom and shower. I was able to arrive quite late my first night, around 2am, and was left clear instructions on how to get in. Everything was clean and charming. Thanks Joan!'
