'We have stayed in some wonderful homes in Emerald Isle and my brother described it as being in OZ and following the yellow brick road, aka the winding beach walk! With every turn and door you opened there was something wonderful Every room was beautiful and had what we needed, baby things, kid games and bunk room and an elevator for my 86 year old mother! Dance parties in the pool, outdoor space galore, decks, decks and patio! wonderful warm ocean of course! We plan to come back our next...

'We had a great stay at this well designed, cozy residence steps from the beach. The interior decor is too notch, beds are big and comfy, fully-equipped kitchen, two indoor dining sets, lots of outdoor spaces, beach chairs and paddle boards, even an outdoor grill! You step inside and are transported into what could be a seaside condo in the Caribbean...I could see a family of 4 or 5 staying here comfortably for months....will look forward to visiting again'

'Surf Sounds was THE PERFECT house for our stay in Emerald Isle!! My two teenagers appreciated the 2nd bedroom having two full beds, and we all slept well on the mattresses! The house was very clean, the linens were in good shape (and smelled nice!), and the kitchen was well stocked. The house was a perfect location to get to the beach - as close to oceanfront as you can get without paying oceanfront prices! The beach access was mere steps from the house, and Emerald Isle town was a short drive...

"Mooi gelegen hotel langs onze roadtrip aan de oostkust. We waren met drie personen en hadden een kamer met dubbele bedden geboekt. De kamer zelf was boven verwachting ruim en compleet. Wat wel tegenviel was de staat van de bank, daar zakte je half doorheen, en de vloer was plakkerig en vochtig. Mogelijk iets met de aurco of overnatig zeepgebruik bij schoonmaken. Helaas iets waar we pas achter kwamen nadat we ons hadden gesettled. Omdat we maar één nacht bleven hebben we dit door de vingers gezien. Verder prima verblijf, goede bedden en uitstekend geslapen."
