'The owner Simon was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was ideal as it was quiet yet only a short distance from a B road which gave access to the wonderful scenery of Exmoor. I would thoroughly recommend The Old Mill as a holiday retreat.'

'The Lodge is beautifully clean , well equipped and with access to a lovely garden and views of all the inquisitive wildlife .. We enjoyed the walk along the River Lim to Lyme Regis and onwards to a walk along the coastal path and back to Uplyme. There isn't much in Uplyme , but Lyme Regis is close , especially by car , where we found very good restaurants . We had a fabulous weekend break and would highly recommend the Lodge.'

'We had a lovely stay at The Apple House with our two labradors. The house is gorgeous, cosy, everything we were looking for! We were greeted with welcoming gifts which was a lovely surprise. Would definately recommend '

'It’s a lovely cottage which contains pretty much all you need. It’s very warm inside and there are lovely features. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, some biscuits and milk which was very thoughtful. Improvements would be that 3 people wanted a shower but the hot water ran out after 1.5 people. Also there were a few cobwebs around and it could do with a paint touch up here and there. Great value for money and we had a lovely stay.'

'Great location. Well equipped cottage, but not as cosy and comfortable as we expected. We felt it was a little under maintained and tired. In need of some TLC. Although the kitchen was well equipped, many thing’s didn’t match, some of the pans and crockery needed replacing. Very dark and drab.'
