'My house got the house to celebrate my 66th birthday. He invited our daughter & her yorkie poodle, 2 of my best friends with their husbands. The guys went fishing but just spent time at the lake, the boaters were out in the water so it wasn’t a good time to fish from the docks.'

'Property was as described. Host was able to be contacted for any issues that arose. The hosts also graciously provide k-cup coffee and kindling for the riverside fire pit. The area is nicely remote enough to be quiet but close enough that a 20 min ride gets you most anything you’d need. One word of advice is that if you plan on a having a fire over a few nights time then it might be better to bring your own wood or ask the host for a contact for wood delivery. 'This is place is perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s just far enough for you to get the true mountain experience but close enough to the essentials. The place was exactly as advertised and the hot tub was amazing!'

'It is an amazing place, lovely and surrounded by nature, while you still are in a village. Every night we saw an Elk passing by and that was awesome. The house offers everything you need and the decoration is done with a good eye for detail and comfort. The owner Norma is very helpful, we didn't meet but had goof contact via mail.'

We cooked at the cabin, played in the creek, and made s'mores in the fire pit. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable, and seating in the living area is cozy. The location is superb...so close to downtown Cashiers but you feel you are isolated. We enjoyed viewing several waterfalls nearby. I highly recommend this property! We hope to return again!'
