'The counter staff was helpful to make sure that we were given the same room style featured in Expedia where we booked. The room equipped with a digital assistant whom you can command it to adjust lighting, aircon, music and curtains. It is very convenient with Wuding metro station just next to it. The breakfast were very delicious with varieties. Except the shower tap which is a tad dated and insufficient light around dressing table/ sink.'

'Hotel is overpriced, a bit dated, old carpet with stains…. Rooms are very small due to the nature of the building. Worst of all was the michelin star restaurant that served a 1000$ meal with undercooked fish and only thing was an apology and free desert to compensate for 3 fishes completely undercooked. Rest of our stay we dined outside and is not worth any michelin star. Breakfast is very nice however.'

'Prachtig, goed onderhouden hotel.

'Very convenient location and excellent breakfast. The room is very clean and staffs are very friendly. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time when we go to Shanghai. We highly recommend this hotel.'

'Grand hotel with good facilities and perfect location to explore Shanghai. A former Hilton hotel where Clinton stayed in the past I was told. Although older, the hotel is comfortable and the spa area is very nice. Close to French district, Jing'An temple and subway station. Good affordable choice for luxury hotel with great service.'

'Mooi hotel met prachtige tuin, behulpzaam personeel, upgrade gekregen gezien babybed niet beschikbaar was.'

'Had a junior suite, the lounge and especially the staff in the lounge (Tina and ?) are amazing! Food is of good quality, location is nice, limo and laundry service are superb. The suite service made it a real Ritz Carlton experience.'

'Good location, amenities, thoughtful service. '

'Hidden gem in great neighbourhood. The rooms may be up for renovation soon, but they are still comfortable enough. Great place overall and a place of historical significance. '
