'The staff were great and enough of them, very helpful and polite and when we required the maintenance staff they came promptly. As is with a holiday site small but non serious repairs and maintenance sometimes required. Would be a thought to have “punch list” to leave for next guest arrival.'

'Having stayed in Wordsworth lodges in other locations I was a little disappointed with this particular lodge. Windows and decking had not been cleaned recently, no king size bed due to the lodge design which was very different to other sites I have stayed at, shower temperature not constant and TV signal very poor.Personally I didn't find the sofa and chairs particularly comfortable but that's probably just me.'

'The lodge was clean inside, including bedding and towels. It was a little tired, with some maintenance needed, particularly in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the outside was very tired, the decking was dirty, cobwebby (not just recently, it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks) and very slippy. The gates to both the decking and the hot tub needed attention and there were holes in the panelling at the front of the lodge. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay, but expected a little more for the money we paid'

'Lodge comfortable . Settees a little dated . 3 bathrooms. Only fault was one shower was scalding. We did report . Came to fix . But it was not done . Needs a new Thermostat. So has to be ordered. So we used other 2 showers . Stunning views from lodge Beds comfortable and warm . Lodge lovely warm considering it’s December . Fab holiday'

'We actually stayed in Kent Lodge which was great, clean and had everything expected at a lodge'

'As mentioned before there is some need for updating and the furniture is showing signs of wear as is the shower room and bathroom.Would be useful to have a vacuum cleaner in the lodge, there was an instruction booklet for one though!,along with a number of instruction books relating to old appliances,maybe best to get rid of these and just keep the booklets for the appliances which these replaced.'

'Check in was very well organised and Reception had keys ready for collection ahead of time. Complimentary drinks were provided in the bar, a nice touch. We found that our dining table had a loose wobbly top. I rang to report it at 9:15 the following morning. The maintenance staff came and had it repaired by 9:30. For the most part the accommodation was clean, tidy and fit for purpose. That said scratch beneath the surface and the property could do with a refresh. Chair fabric repaired using...

'Lodge was absolutely brilliant, lots of space for a hyper cocker spaniel puppy to run around. Secure decking, hot tub perfectly placed so not in the view of anyone else. Very clean and tidy plenty of towels'
