Unfortunately there was no air conditioning for our first night and the next day. They did get a new air conditioner installed by 4:30 the following day. I did receive a refund for this day. There were several things that did not work (the fire alarm had no batteries or cover, the bathroom sink stopped up each time it was used, the curtain rod broke the first time we opened the curtains in the bedroom. I shared all of this with the property manager so just be sure the items are repaired before you go. Also, there was only one roll of toilet tissue for a 3 day stay for 2 people. Maybe take some supplies with you.

Although it was only a 2 night stay, it felt very welcoming and comfortable right from the start. The view was breathtaking, especially at sunset. Nick was friendly and easy to deal with, five stars there, too. I plan to return when in town again. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Good lake view, easy parking. I had thought there was easy access to pool, but this building is does not have access to the three closest pools in neighborhood. Pool use required driving to HOA activity center and pool. This property is good if you rent a boat and use dock directly in front or want to swim in lake. Porch is too small and patio furniture is not comfortable. “Stale/musty” smell was alleviated by removing very dirty air return filter during our stay, but a clean one is needed. Communication with owner/manager was good with immediate response.

The room was clean and well equipped for our four day stay. The area was beautiful and very relaxing. The areas where I could see improvement would be to provide more towels and soap for bathroom and kitchen. Also, the grass was so high I couldn’t hardly walk outside without assistance. Best view on Lake Martin!

We have been coming to Lake Martin for over 20 years. The condos at Sunset Point Drive are a little older now, but remain our favorite to stay in. The view we had from the family room and the bedroom of the Lake was phenomenal. We enjoyed the front porch breezes and shade that lasted until about 2:30pm each day. It was a perfect place to read and refresh each morning until way after lunch. Our last day included our annual boat rental at the end of the week which was icing on the cake. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic location!

This is our second time staying at this condo. It's perfect! It has a dedicated boat slip, and the water is just a few steps away. The patio has two entrances, one from the master bedroom, the other from the den. It's very quiet here. Never heard our neighbors.Kitchen was well stocked. Master bed very comfortable. We did not utilize the sleeper sofa.You are really close to Harbor Point Marina and The Landing (great food and drink). Just outside the entrance to the neighborhood is a nice new grocery store.34 Market, is a few miles away, and has a great selection of wine, fresh produce, seafood/meat. There is also a liquor store next door. We of course will stay here again. Thanks, Nick for being such a great host!

Mini vacay while our son attended Camp ASCCA

Beautifully located within steps of the water. *Of note you must take 20 stairs inside to the entrance of the condo. Another option is a stone pathway around the bldg. to enter your condo's sliding glass door. Beautiful grass with inlaid stones makes a pretty landscape. Once your inside you'll find a lovely living area. Well stocked kitchen and nice den. The bedroom is nice. I loved comforter on the bed. The bathroom had a large (2 adults ) spa tub. Plenty of bath towels & washcloths are provided. There were cute decorations throughout. We especially liked the place settings on the small dinner table. Plates and napkin ring holders were decorated with weenie dogs patterns. Our son's therapy dog is a weenie dog. Sunset Point is appropriately named. You can sit on your patio and watch the sunset on the a point of beautiful Lake Martin. We stayed Sunday-Friday. Located in a slough allowed peaceful place. Bring a float. You are literally steps from the water. It's like sitting in your backyard. The only "complaint" is about is about the entrance. My hip & back issues prevented me from helping unload the luggage, groceries, cooler etc. My husband is limited physically and had to unload every thing by himself. Great place! Just be aware its not handicapped accessible nor easy for older people.

Great stay!

We had a great time at this quaint condo. We booked this unit so that we would be close while or son was at Camp ASCCA. We arrived a few hours before check in and ran in to Nick, he let us check in early and even helped carry one of our bags down the stairs. The unit was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! The weather didn't cooperate with us one day and we ended up on the porch just watching the rain which was very relaxing! Nick was extremely helpful when it came to recommendations on both boat rentals and restaurants that were nearby! We will definitely stay here again!

We booked this condo for our stay after dropping our son off at Camp War Eagle. We had high hopes after reading the reviews. Our experience was quite different. The views are fantastic but the condo experience was less than optimal. On the second night of our stay there was a rainstorm. We were sitting on the couch when all of a sudden we heard dripping which soon turned into pounding rain that leaked from the frame around the sliding door. The floor flooded.We had to use every bowl in the condo and our cooler plus multiple towels. I contacted the owner via the app to alert him of the problem. I offered to send video and photos of the rain as I thought he would be concerned about the damage to his property. The only response I got was “my apologies”. I sent additional messages but received no further response. We spent significant time cleaning up the water in the condo. I looked at previous reviews and when I got to a review from April I saw that another guest had experienced the same problem with raining inside the condo. Clearly this problem has been ongoing and has not been addressed. Guests should not be expected to clean up a mess that is caused by an owner’s lack of willingness to address regular maintenance and upkeep of the property. This was not how we planned to spend a few days at the lake. In summary, this was a disappointing experience compounded by the indifference of the owners and failure to address property issues. I do not recommend this listing.

Was in town for a reunion so i booked 2nights. First the tv didnt work and the manager brought one at 9 pm, then when it started to rain water started to pour inside by the doors to the porch, in the morning I woke up and made coffe but apparently the pot has not been cleaned properly in some time and it made ma sick then i went to shower and the tub wouldn’t drain so i had to stand in filth while showering. Then the tub leaked all over the kitchen floor. Not a pleasant experience

Smoke alarm beeping. Tub takes forever to drain. You stand in water up to ankle deep while showering. Trash seemed to come out of jet ports in tub. Other than those two issues it was great. Great location, great view.
