'After our roundtrip in Borneo, we wanted to relax for a few days, and chose this resort.
Some buildings in this hotel were being renovated, but this was not disturbing for guests.
The first renovation should be finished in august 2018.
Our rooms were very spacious and clean; but they also need renovation.
We reserved a family room, and got 2 rooms with connecting door.
Especially the service, friendlyness of the staff is fantastic. They really make you feel special.

'No parking available so we parked at the mall adjacent to the hotel. Our flights are at 9am so we checked out at 5.30am but door to mall car park is locked by mall staff. Walked up car ramps to car park from outside but could not leave as payment must be made inside the mall which open at 10am. There are also no security personnel at mall to help us. 'Our state was very nice. No problems. Just to be aware that this is not the touristy part of town. With no offense meant, we were the only white couple. We saw the whole time in this area. Everyone was smiling and friendly. No problem whatsoever with the locals they were very welcoming!'

'Great place with nice rooms and beautiful view (both to Mt Kinabalu and Kota Kinabalu). Standard Malaysian breakfast and decent lunch and dinner menu. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room (104) was very good although there are a few ants around (so make sure not to leave food around). Bed, shower and toilet were nice and clean. Internet worked quite well (not guaranteed in this area). Our best place in Sabah so far (out of 6 good hotels).'

'The property is beautiful surrounded by a lush forest which brings around wildlife (including some monkeys that can be a bit invasive). The tram at Bunga Raya was really a pleasure, with smiles and warm hospitality.
We do have to warn of the sand flies, which left my husband with over 60 bites on his back even after applying repellent (I on the other hand was never bothered much, as with other guests it was a hit or miss).
