'We enjoyed the quiet and remote features of this private Lansing oasis. Unfortunately while the gas fireplace wasn't working, we were able to run into town and buy wood for the wood burning stove. Definitely recommend for a winter getaway and know the gas fireplace will be repaired soon. Property manager was quick to respond and contact the appropriate maintenance staff. 'The host was helpful and kind. The check-in process was simple. The location was great. Set on the front porch and watch the river flow. Home was Close to my favorite fishing spots. The house was well stocked with everything you need. The beds were comfortable. The house was very clean and neat. My wife and I loved how the house was decorated with pictures and items from the area. We will definitely be returning for another stay in the future. Would highly recommended it.'

'We recently stayed at the parsonage, three generations, and enjoyed it immensely. Everything was exactly as stated in the description. It was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. 'Great home in a great location. Everything is in walking distance and if you love people watching you have the perfect view to do so from the cozy front porch. The fenced in backyard was great for my senior dog. The Wicked Chicken is right next door and the food and service was a 5 star experience. The Appalachian Distillery was a few easy blocks to walk. So much to do…. And do not forget the Creeper Trail is a step or two away.'

It was cold so we tried Bristol Caverns on the first day and braved the cold for a great VCT ride on day 2. This house is in a perfect location, less than 2 miles from downtown Damascus. Owners checked on us. Great house with some character, would definitely stay here again.'
