'This is a great cozy retreat. Clean. Everything you need, including firewood for the wood stove.Convenient to NY State Parks and not far from the Empire Trail and Hudson Valley Greenway so perfect for us to check off some of our NY State Parks Centennial Challenge tasks and get some hiking and biking in. It was perfect for the 2 of us. Ashley responded promptly to all of our communications and was a great host. Nice little touches like a basket of snacks added to the charm of this cozy cottage.'

'Everything was easy and fine at the space. I had to stay for family reasons - so "location" was the most important factor to me. The worst thing in the unit is that the spiral stair is narrow - and a fat person or person with bad knees is NOT going to be using that stairwell easily. Otherwise, the unit had everything I needed and was perfectly appointed for an easy weekend stay. Enjoy!'

'My mother and i were so happy to check into this beautiful and relaxing place after a long day of travel. Abigails attention to detail and artistic flare in decor creates a unique experience. 'Comfortable house, not huge, but nicely decorated. Host was very quick to respond when I had trouble with door code. The only con for us was lack of handrails on steps to exterior doors (front and back). Otherwise a great place to stay.'

'This house and property are well appointed and very nice in all respects! The family room with the large, glazed overhead door is a great space (we had the door open during the day, and then closed it in the evening for dinner.) The deck overlooking Candlewood Lake has several nice seating areas, hot tub and fire pit. Down at the lake, there is another nice seating area (along with the dock and boat shed.)
