The property was very nice with an updated look. Staff was very nice and helpful. Convenient, safe location. Food and shopping all right across the street. The only issue we had was I had to pull up really hard to get the deadbolt to latch on my room door. The face plate and the dead bolt just did not line up correctly. I was finally able to get it to lock but definitely need to make sure all the doors are easily lockable. Other than that, our stay was wonderful!

I apologize for the inconvenience. I looked at your reservation. I see that you had called a week after your check-in date to cancel. Hotel policy to cancel is by 6pm the day of check-in.

We arrived early coming from our cruise. The front desk person was so put out that we were early and she kept repeating that they just cleaned the lobby and we couldn’t stay in there. She wanted us to take our two children and all of our luggage and walk somewhere for breakfast and come back later. She then proceeded to say if we were to check in early, there would be a fee which we said we did not mind . Our room is on the second floor and the door does not automatically close behind you. You have to make sure when you enter or leave that you physically shut the door so it locks. The overnight front desk person was amazing and very helpful.

Pros: great location, clean room, felt safe walking my dogs! Cons: Front desk employee Jamie wasn’t very friendly or welcoming. I was advised the pet fee was $50. I stated at other LaQunita’s I only paid $25 tx. She pointed to the sign on the desk. I was advised there was a pet station with bags. I found the receptacle for the bags and it was empty. There wasn’t an area that was designated for dogs and the three trash cans around the property were overflowing. If patrons are expected to adhere to the pet policy it might be in your best interest to insure your patrons know the specific location on the property for the pets to go! It’s a good thing I always have dog bags with me! Last word, I’ve stayed at many LaQuinta’s and am always pleased! This was my first experience that was so-so!

The staff was great, the room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was enjoyable and the only complaints were a lot of human hair on the floors (pet friendly room) and the shower/tub filled up quickly during a shower and took a long time to drain.

I’m an amputee and showing on one leg is difficult enough shower chair is always a must but this time the shower head kept falling and would stay where I wanted it to be. I ran the water and walked away for a second and the shower head was pointing to the sink and water was all over the floor. I told the front desk that morning before leaving for the day and next morning it did the same thing. I also told them it didn’t look like it had been clear lately. They don’t clean it at all. I paid good morning to sleep there the least they could have done was to make sure things worked.
