The room was basic. It is very near to the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were met at the airport in the middle of the night. This is not a hotel to spend your holiday, but as one night in between flights it was fine.

Dit is precies wat het is, een prima transit lodge.Als je laat aankomt en vroeg weer wegmoet en de traffic van Dar es Salaam wilt vermijden is dit prima. Vrolijke staf, schone kamers, goedkoop. Alleen wat warm omdat ze een dekbed geven en geen laken. Ook een uitstekende gratis shuttle die ons om half 6 naar airport bracht.Strak op tijd!

Shuttle pickup worked easily and the Lodge is close to the airport, esp. for drop-off. Room was small but efficient. Aircon worked, got a decent meal late (but no Killy on hand to wash it down). Breakfast limited but have a Spanish Omelette. Neighbourhood is industrial, but for a short transit stay, worked well. And take advantage of the views on the terrace.

The staff was great. However, the facilities left a lot to be desired. The air conditioner in my room was not working properly, so it was uncomfortable for sleeping. Also, given the proximity to the airport when a plane, even in the middle of the night lands or takes off the sound in my room was deafening. Also, the thank you got my coffee no problem thank you thank you very much power went out in the morning. The staff said that the power goes out all around the city in different places at least a couple of hours a day.

Noisy with an electric generator running all night, they keep losing power all night long, didn’t pick me up at the airport excuses were no power all day to answer phone or emails, uncomfortable bed, no hot water in shower, mosque next door praying extremely loud and it’s insane, didn’t sleep or rest all night long.

I selected this hotel as it's right next to the airport as we arrived late from Malawi and left for Zanzibar 7am the next morning. The hotel is perfect for that. The staff are very helpful, the place was also clean and safe and air-conditioner worked well. Personally what I did not like was that I could not purchase a beer as they don't sell alcohol. I had not checked on this before I booked. Also the shower is the bathroom so when you have a shower the whole bathroom gets basically wet, there is no shower cubicle. The electrical connections to the hot water heater was exposed in the bathroom and the last thing was the food was not great, the chicken wings we ordered was burnt to a crisp, however my wife told me that this is the way people eat chicken wings in East Africa so I guess for others it would have been a good meal.The last thing is that it's noisy, the hotel is not sound proofed and at the end of a runway..also when people talk in the passageway you can clearly hear what they say in the bedroom. Anyway for the price and to use as a transit hotel it's fine.

Clean, comfortable and reliable airport pickup/drop off. We had a 5:20am flight out and they took us at 3am (no charge). We even had a tasty dinner there. Friendly staff.

Good option to stay near airport
If you need to stay close to the airport for an early flight, this is a great option. Simple but clean and super welcoming staff. It offers free breakfast and has food service. Also offers free airport transfers which is very convenient.

As suggested, I re-confirmed my reservation 1 week before my arrival, along with my request for the complimentary shuttle to meet me at Nyerere Airport late that night. It was confirmed on the Expedia website that the driver would be there to meet me for the ~4 minute drive to the hotel. But no driver was there. Finally, after roughly 2 hours (nearly 1:00 am) with some kind help from the airport staff, a shuttle did arrive. Once finally there, I was greeted by a very polite and apologetic night manager, who showed me to the room. It was clean and comfortable, and that was all I needed. He had a nice breakfast fixed for me before I departed for the airport in the morning, and he and all the staff were very kind. I would stay there again, but would plan other transportation from/to the airport.

Et rigtig godt middelklasse hotel. Tæt på lufthavnen i Dar es Salaam, og hvis man skal flyve om morgenen, går trafikken den anden vej, så det tager bogstaveligt kun 5-6 minutter at komme til lufthavnen. Transport til og fra lufthavnen er gratis. Ménukortet og maden er godt. Morgenvækningen er til tiden. Jeg anbefaler, at man opgraderer til et dobbeltværelse, for så får man mere plads og et skrivebord. Hotellet kan varmt anbefales.

Beyond disgusting
Disgusting… dried blood on the dirty sheets, pubic hair in the bathroom that hasn’t been cleaned in forever. I just wanted a clean place to sleep for the night, I escaped as soon as I could. The most disgusting place I have ever stayed. I would have been better sleeping in the airport.

Et godt transithotel.
Et godt transithotel - det tager kun 5 minutter at køre til lufthavnen. Transport til og fra lufthavnen er gratis og uden problemer. Morgenvækningen var var meget præcis. Internet og air condition var god. Tips: Book it dobbeltværelse - så får du et større værelse med skrivebord, køleskab etc.

Good hotel, nice people and good location
Hotel was good, i was picked up and drop off right on the 4 am time I requested. Usman was very helpful and checking in was pretty fast. The coffee I requested for 3.30 am was ready on time. Bed was super comfortable and shower was excellent. Anytime I have a flight that early it's the place to be.

This is a budget motel that is very conveniently located to the airport. So, you shouldn’t expect many amenities. Not in a great neighborhood, but is behind a gate. Dinner was slow to come, and not exciting choices, but was decent enough. Room was just big enough for two of us and our gear because we could put things in closets. It sufficed for our last night in Tanzania.

I booked this because of the airport proximity and free shuttle. It is a bit difficult to find the right number to call the hotel to tell the driver you are waiting. The room is nice, the free breakfast is nice too. My biggest problem was the A/C remote was non-functional for my room, so my only options were A/C on or off.. in other words I was either too cold or too hot for the night since the temperature could not be adjusted,

Nice transit hotel
The service was great, and the guy waited awhile to pick me up when my plane was delayed. He also carried my bags to the door when I left. No elevator, but overall a great transit hotel with a good breakfast.

Waited two hours at the airport for the pickup - they kept saying the taxi would be there in two and blaming the trafic (everyone knows trafic in Dar is difficult, so leaving well in time is mandatory)

Thank you for the response. first and far most we apologize for the inconvenience on our part; secondly; the guest kindly mistook the terminal she's in that mislead the driver to another terminal. hence the further delay. thirdly and also more important to my side as service provider. I'm very disappointed that abusive language was used to my staff from you. no matter how wrong my staff is; NO ABUSIVE LANGUAGE SHOULD BE USED AGAINST HUMAN BEINGS IT IS AGAINST HUMANITY!! keep the f words and calling people stupid to yourself. particularly in a country like ours. we are grown ups and deserve to act like it. Extended Transit Stay
For a transit stay this hotel was fantastic! I had to extend by another day and was welcomed by the staff to do so. Even though it is a budget stay, it has a very homely feel. Breakfast might need some attention. It is right behind the airport, so the sounds of planes coming over cause slight interference... I will definitely stay here again!

Pas d'enseigne pour identifier l'hotel. Le point Gps renseigné sur le mail de contact etait faux. Par contre Gps sur Maps ok. Pas d'eau chaude pour la douche. Des moustiques dans la chambre ++. Nuit bruyante, beaucoup de vehicules musique a fond, avions.... Par contre personnel charmant et dévoué. Qualité mediocre du restaurant.
