'Bramley cottage is a recently-built (2022) bespoke 1-bed single-storey cottage ideal for a couple, and is very dog-friendly. From the cottage, there is a pleasing outlook over the orchard, the plums were in-season and being picked by visitors to the site, which now includes a cafe. The cottage is near the far end of the estate (furthest from Ashlyns Lane, and visible on Google Maps), so were were never disturbed, its a wonderfully peaceful place. 'We had a very nice stay. In the cottage all the utensils you could wish for are there. We were warmly welcomed by Mrs S. Who informed us about a very nice garden we could visit and a small church in Tudely where Marc Chagall made 12 very beautiful glass windows. Rochester is a beautiful city, with many old tipacally English houses, an impressive castle and cathedral, on the Medway. The only difficulty for us Dutch people, was the trafic in the area, so fast and so many roundabouts. '

'Pets welcome but advise in advance, perfect location, cozy, easy access for local sight seeing and there’s lots of places to go and see. There’s an M&S food at the garage about 200 metres away, good pub within walking distance but allow 30 mins there, and about an hour to get back in the dark 🙂 There is a microwave and induction hob with fridge and toaster in the kitchen but no oven, all you need unless you brought a pizza, no big deal we just froze it and had it when we got home. 'Beautiful cottage in an amazing setting - ideal for people who don’t want to use their cars once there! Communication with Skykes Cottages was very process heavy tho - we received so many useless emails before the booking, then during the trip there was so many different people to talk to for every problem. They took time to help. They don’t reply to WhatsApp for Hours tho they say to contact you there. Some improvements needed there to make it seamless please 🙏'
