The deck, swing and location are fantastic, price is good and the hosts are very responsive with answering questions. It was great having a washer/dryer with all the sand. But, it would have been nice to know a few things before arriving. The place is in need of cleaning, repairs and refreshment. The rugs and carpets need steam cleaning and repair. Some of the blinds are sagging badly and one fell off the wall when we tried to open it because the bracket was dry rotted. (The hosts told us they are about to replace blinds when we told them it fell.) There was mold behind the blind and at the bottom of the shower stall. One of the kitchen drawers needs repair and one kitchen towel was just a rag. Some of the walls are dirty and in need of cleaning or a paint job. And the beds are very soft, which may or may not be your thing. The owner is very kind, but we just wish we'd known about these things before renting the space.
