Perfect for extended families, multiple families traveling together, fishing groups, reunions, and group vacations, this side by side setup provides space for up to 22 guests while still allowing everyone room to spread out and relax.

Positioned directly on the Gulf of Mexico, both homes offer unobstructed beach views, spacious Gulf front decks, and immediate access to the sand just steps away. With two full kitchens, two living areas, eight bedrooms, and four bathrooms across the combined property, Rainbow Shell Beach is designed for memorable gatherings and laid back coastal living.

Rainbow Shell Beach combines two nearly identical Gulf front homes into one expansive vacation setup, allowing large groups to stay together while maintaining separate living spaces for flexibility and privacy.

Each home features an open concept layout designed around the Gulf views, with comfortable living areas, large windows, and easy access to the beachfront decks. The kitchens are fully equipped for preparing group meals, with ample counter space and dining areas that make gathering together easy and comfortable.

The combined setup gives guests access to:

Outdoor Living / Beach Access
Outdoor living is at the heart of the Rainbow Shell Beach experience. Both homes feature large Gulf front decks with unobstructed beach views and private seating areas separated by a privacy divider, allowing guests to gather together or enjoy quieter moments independently.

A shared beach walkway provides direct access to the sand just steps from the homes, making beach days simple and convenient for large groups. Guests also have access to a shared outdoor shower and grilling area, while each unit maintains its own grill for flexibility during meals and cookouts.

The beachfront location means guests can enjoy the sound of the waves, expansive Gulf views, and beautiful sunsets throughout their stay.

Nearby Attractions / Area Perks
During your stay, explore Fort Gaines, the Audubon Bird Sanctuary, and the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Local restaurants, marinas, bike paths, and the Dauphin Island Ferry make it easy to experience everything the island has to offer.

Rainbow Shell Beach is pet friendly, allowing dogs only with approval. A 2 pet maximum applies per unit, with a $100 pet fee per pet plus tax.

As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you!

Please note that the shoreline of Dauphin Island Beaches regularly shifts inward and outward. Properties at the shoreline will experience wave action. Guests will be able to hear the waves and feel the house move. This is normal and should be expected for any home on pilings.

Please note the following:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is pet-friendly, dogs only, 2-Pet Maximum Limit - $100 pet fee per pet plus tax applies.
