'We have really liked this hotel. It’s close to Hofstra and close to the LIRR Mineola station, as well as a very short walk to Roosevelt Field Mall. A couple of weird things: the hallway outside our room was very cold (here during odd cold snap in late April), and there is no place to hang up towels. I’m glad to reuse our towels but not if they have to be scrunched into a cubby. There need to at least be hooks in the bathroom. I also noticed there is no disposal in the kitchen sink, if that...

'We were impressed with our stay. CiCi was so helpful and pleasant at check-in. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The only minor issue was the sound of the air conditioner. We will definitely stay again. '

'Originally booked for two nights, had to change it to three nights the night before checking out. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Plenty of usb and regular outlets available. Bathroom is a decent size, not huge but by no means cramped. Not much counter space in the room I was inhowever being one person there was enough for me. 'TV didn’t work as in the regular channels weren’t even on and the TV kept saying it is disconnected to WiFi even though I kept putting the password give to me. No WiFi, elevator is slow and stinks and takes forever. No conditioner or soap. Bath tub was dirty, I had to clean. I stayed for 1 night so it was ok but I cannot imagine staying there for a week.'

'Econolodge is a budget hotel (in spite of the 150 pn) and the rooms were clean, sufficient towels. The householdstaff was friendly, the bathroom clean. There was a microwave and a fridge. We were very satisfied in spite of the noise of the ac which we switched off. At a ten minutes walk there is a good Stop n Shop'

'The parking situation is awful -- they have room for maybe 8 cars, so often you have to pay for street parking. They surprised me at checkout by charging for the meager parking. The front desk staff were pleasant and tried to help with parking, which was an upside. Reviews also said that a gym was available next door, but that was not the case. Overall, an okay place to stay if you're looking to not pay an arm and a leg, though I was disappointed. '
