'The star Grand hotel Brisbane is nothing short of amazing!! There is a huge complex with a delightful leisure deck on the 7th floor, many restaurants on the 4th floor, a casino on the 5th floor, and an outstanding roof deck with more restaurants on the 23rd floor. From the 4th floor you can go directly across a beautiful pedestrian bridge that crosses the river to the South Bank cultural precinct. Design detail was spared and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, 5 stars all the way!!'
'I appreciated the full attention of the receptionist when checking in. Another staff member arrived and politely and patiently waited until the receptionist had finished checking me in, before she spoke to the receptionist I commended both staff on that. It’s a little thing but it was enough to make me feel valued as a guest. '

'Hotel Indigo is in a good location, approximately half way between Roma Street Station and the Queen Street Mall. Rooms are well appointed with everything you should need. Restaurant 1603 has great ambience, the food was excellent and the staff attentive. Check in and check out was easy.'

'Excellent location in the centre of Brisbane. Walk to attractions, the river and ferries, shopping and dining options. Easy parking opposite. Large well appointed rooms and excellent service. Lovely cafe on ground floor. Highly recommended. '

'I love Ode Properties. They have amazing beds. I was empathetic toward the front desk staff, as she was dealing with an impossible customer, and I had to wait a while to check in, but because we commiserated she upgraded me. It was so thoughtful of her. I loved my room. Only annoyance is the motorbikes zooming around on the roads behind the hotel at odd hours of the night. 'The choice at the breakfast buffet was a bit limited for me as I like lots of fresh fruits, cereals and breads. The range was pretty limited for a hotel of this standard. However the staff were fantastic and we had a very comfortable stay. '

"Brsibane is great. Although the hotel is in the centre somehow it manged to be somewhere where there is absolutly nothing. But don't worry, within 10-15 minutes walk you are in all the goo places or with Lime or uber. Go to South Bank (little stanley street) or city beach, or the Cliffs boardwalk for good food or Fortitude valley for nightlife ;)"
