'Check-in was great. The Castaway Cottage was just how it was listed. The back porch was the best part, it was big enough for the whole family to hang out. Unfortunately when we were there it was very hot and the ceiling fans on the porch did not work. Maintenance came to try and fix them but he could not. He even came back a second time to give us another remote control to try. It did not work either. He didn’t get it fixed but was very nice and was very prompt to come out and try and fix it. He...

'The house was very well kept. Our only complaint was that the beds and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. We enjoyed our stay there. The layout was perfect for our family. The grill worked for grilling hamburgers and the table seating worked for our large family-9 adults and 6 children. One suggestion would be to supply coffee filters that fit the machine there. Normal filters don't fit.'

'The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. 'Comfortable, spacious, clean, exactly what was needed.They warned us about the hill, but it is a HILL! Our minivan couldn't make it up in perfect weather. And a can opener would have been nice in the kitchen.'

'This is an amazing stay! Great for big families as it is very spacious! The property has everything you need for cooking,laundry, and fun (hot tub and games!) my family stayed for a week over thanksgiving and the kitchen is perfect for cooking a large meal! All the beds were very comfortable as well! Great location and easy checkout! Michael was very responsive and quick to respond when I had any questions! 'This is a great place to stay! There is so much room for people. The third floor king suite has its own little sitting area and bathroom. The main floor has a huge dinner table and sitting space for folks. Then downstairs has a whole couch pool table video games. There was so much space that no one felt cramped or tripping over each other. The kitchen is so well stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware etc. The gas grill was a huge save for Christmas dinner. I would recommend...

'What a great house and excellent host. The house was immaculate, the host left us wine, snacks and provided toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, razors,etc. There were plenty of place settings, cookware, glasses and everything we needed. And the neighborhood was very quiet.'
