'We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

'The Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. The rooms have nice versions of all the basics, including a good bed and excellent shower. There are few extra amenities beyond the room and pub, although the breakfast was very good. 'Couldn't be better in anyway. Room was very clean and updated, hosts were friendly and breakfast was excellent, especially the French Toast with fruit compote on it.'

'Nice hotel and very friendly people/owners. We came very late from the boat in Harwich. It was very easy to find the hotel. The owners help is to find a good restaurant. The breakfast was very good and made with passion. '
