'Had a wonderful stay! Highly recommend. Place was exactly as described and was very clean. Very comfortable beds and the towel and soap bundles in each room was a great touch. The outdoor deck and backyard was a great place to relax and they even provided firewood though we didn’t have a fire. Great location to all the island’s attractions.'

'The Algonquin is a beautiful property. The building is impressive, the grounds are immaculately maintained, and the valet staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
Unfortunately, the front desk experience was the opposite and became the defining part of my stay. Staff were not openly rude, but consistently came across as indifferent, unfriendly, and unhelpful. At check-in, I had to repeatedly ask basic questions about room upgrades, views, and balconies to get useful...

'Een enig beetje jaren 50 motel. Echt super schoon!! Zeer vriendelijke en efficiënte ontvangst. Op loopafstand van winkels en restaurants. Volgende keer weer picket fence motel!'

'The room was decorated nicely, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.
The location is downtown so very convenient to walk to stores, restaurants and the wharf.
