Entire property feels really private and quiet somehow, even though it's a 3 minute walk from Bourbon Street. Staff were as friendly and helpful as can be with all questions and requests. Will be staying here again the next time we're in NOLA.'

'Stayed here three nights in early November. Rooms were clean and updated, especially for the age of the building. The staff at the front desk were helpful and polite. Great location if you want to be in walking distance to Bourbon Street, but not in heart of the party. I would stay here again for sure.'

'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'
