'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'

'If you want CHARM and not CHAIN this is it. It was a short walk from everything and not to much noise. Now the staircase threw me off but I had to remind myself CHARM not CHAIN. These places were built before elevators existed. It was very clean and the staff was nice. I felt safe and would stay again. '

'The room was sooo clean! I also loved how secure it was. You need a key card to get into the building as well as to the elevator area. And if you arrive before check in or have a later flight in the day they have lockers you can use for your luggage. The staff was super friendly! We will definitely stay again ! '

'Near Frenchman street and French quarter, clean and nice, w private entrance- a couple of random people came and knocked on the door in the evening but they were just some guy who obviously expected someone else to be there and a guy wanting to use the water hose for his dog but this did not bother me'
