'The experience was wonderful. Beautiful room and helpful and friendly staff.We stayed here last eight years ago, and again it was a wonderful experience. With one exception. On our last visit, dinner and breakfast were truly exceptional, attentive staff and delicious food served in an atmosphere of quiet elegance. The staff are still wonderful and the food is exceptional. But now there is an extremely noisy bar with excessively loud music which made conversation very difficult.'

'Standard rooms are very small, which is understandable, but noise transmission is terrible. A group of females had a mini party in the hallway on the 25th floor and they. were. loud. Separately, I heard some footsteps from the floor above. Room service was mediocre. The delivery person turned cold the second he realized that I didn't give EXTRA tip above the 20% that was already charged on the bill. Overall, not a super pleasant experience.'

'I took my wife for our 39th anniversary. She had always wanted to stay downtown in a classic hotel. We were not disappointed. The room was well appointed and spacious. The coffee was good. Dinner was delicious for my steak and her fish. Special kudos for the Rémy Martin Louis XIII.
From the valet to the restaurant manager every staff person was polite and helpful. They made us feel as special as the anniversary was.
Highly recommended. '
