My son and I stay in Philly for few days every holiday season to attend the Philadelphia orchestra concert, this year we choose the Bellevue Hotel due to its high quality rating and overall feedback by guests. Unfortunately it was not our experience. The room was dark, small, with some paint on parts of walls that did not match. Heat didn’t quite work, was set to 80 yet only blew at 70 no matter what. Bathroom was cold regardless of the heat. The cabinets smell of mold. The door to court yard didn’t lock. The bed corners were so harp we both kept bumping in to them. Lastly the buckle on my son’s ( birthday present) backpack went missing. Bag never left the room, I find it super disturbing to discover that someone came to the room and went in to my bag. We walked in with the buckle and left without it. The $900 backpack ruined. It seems as someone tried to open the bag and didn’t know how to close it back up. So they just took the buckle with them. Terrible experience for both of. Absolute ruined. Waisted time and money.
