Hi Geoffrey We have different size rooms and it depends on availability and price as to which one you pick. We have a virtual tour on our website that shows each room in detail. All rooms are bed only which is stated clearly when booking. Every room has coffee /tea making facilities and biscuits! We have some lovely breakfast venues within a 2 minute walk. I am confused by your comment, restricted use of facilities??? No idea what you mean by that. I’m delighted with the positive feedback with regards cleanliness and staff. Kind regards Mary

Hi BegonaI’m very surprised you did not have good WiFi as our WiFi is very good once you have the password! Our heating is underfloor and is set at 21 degrees. I’m happy everything else was very satisfactory.Kind regards

Dear Anne-Marie, We were very upset and disappointed to receive such a low score. Upon your arrival our restaurant manager opened the restaurant for you 2 hours earlier so you could enjoy some pre dinner drinks. As he told you we would have moved you if it was at all possible. Your room had only become available 5 days previously. All other rooms were booked weeks and months in advance. When booking it was clearly marked as a cosy double (meaning small) with a picture and room size 12sq metres. We have a commercial pressure pump which produces excellent water pressure for all our guests. Perhaps there was an issue with your understanding of the controls.As far as your statement “ there’s nothing in the town” I find that grossly unfair. It may not be New Jersey but it is a vibrant little village with many businesses that work tirelessly to make Delgany a thriving spot for tourists and locals alike. There are 4 hugely popular venues for breakfast, The BearPaw, The Pigeon, The Firehouse Bakery and the Fat Fox, all within a 1 minute walk and open from 730/830am every morning. Besides many tourist attractions in the area there is also a supermarket, a pharmacy, 2 pubs, 3 restaurants, a gourmet Grocer, a butcher’s and 2 beauticians. Lots to choose from for a 1 night stay. I was delighted you enjoyed the food in the restaurant and the charm of the building which is over 250 years old. Our restaurant has won the best food in the area for the last 2 years. All things considered a score of 1 out of 5 is very unfair and as you can see it has upset myself and our staff who tried our best to make your stay an enjoyable one.Kind regards Mary
