The cottage itself had the most beautiful views. We enjoyed the charm of the home, featuring accents from the original cottage. Super cute! We would definitely stay again!'

'This property is an absolute delight and exactly as advertised. But wait, there's more. The house comes with fresh cut flowers, fine chocolates, popcorn and coffee. The views are amazing! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The screened porch is a delight and there is almost always a breeze. One of the unexpected joys of the stay was watching Shannon, the owner, walk her 3 geese to the river each day for a quick swim. So cute! The house is only 15 minutes from town but...

The Merroir was a short drive away but an amazing dinner on the water with great views, food and craft beer. '

'We loved the cottage! The bay was so close that even when you were inside you felt like you were on the beach. The sunsets were AMAZING. The neighbors were very quiet, the beach was private and the cottage was clean- leading to a nice, relaxing trip full of kayaking, fishing, reading on the beach and floating on the bay. Mathews area is our favorite spot due to the close proximity to groceries, restaurants and day trips. '

'We had an amazing time on the river! We had planned on going out to explore but it was so relaxing and inviting in the home we didn't want to leave. We ending up getting groceries nearby and eating in.The views and river were excellent. I did quite a bit of fishing and if crabbing is your thing they are abundant off of the pier.
